c.1950's Native American Cuff

$225.00

This cuff began as a vintage mid-century Native American–made sterling silver bracelet, originally crafted in the circa 1950s. At some point in its life, the cuff sustained damage and several connection points on the bracelet were broken.

The bracelet was carefully taken apart and thoughtfully restored. During the process, the original traditional sawdust backing beneath the turquoise was preserved, then returned to the setting when the stone was reset. This method respects the original construction techniques while allowing the bracelet to be worn and enjoyed again.

The bright turquoise stone remains the focal point, framed by classic mid-century silverwork details. The cuff has a strong presence while still being comfortable and balanced on the wrist.

This piece is both a wearable bracelet and a preserved fragment of history—honoring its original maker while extending its life through careful restoration.
